Begin Your Violin Journey

I remember when I first started playing the violin in my Waldorf elementary school. It was exciting and overwhelming.

How do begin?

How am I ever going to sound good?

I've always been fortunate enough to have teachers to help and inspire me along the way. A good teacher makes a huge difference in a young musician's journey.

Is your beginning violinist ready for lessons?

I have been teaching a growing group of young violinists for a couple of years now. I always look forward to each lesson. They are fun and optimistic about learning.

These are some types of students that I've found are a good fit with my teaching style:

  • Those just starting their violin journey
  • Those who have played for 4 years or less
  • Those who have played casually or in school, but are now interested in advancing their playing skills through lessons.
